Fright Night is Sony and I believe it's OOP from Twilight Time. Only labels licensing from Sony in the US are Criterion, Mill Creek, and Shout! Factory right now.

Popeye is with Paramount in the US, but their Kino Lorber contract is only for films that haven't had a digital disc release yet. Everything has been stuff that never had a home video release before or hadn't been touched since VHS or laserdisc. The only other studios licensing from Paramount right now are Criterion and Olive Films... and Olive seems like it's on its way out since they don't have anything scheduled for the rest of the year.

Though, Kino's initial contract with Disney was for Touchstone/Hollywood movies that hadn't been released on DVD yet, but they expanded it to include them.

FYI, here's the major studio contracts with the boutique labels right now:

Criterion: Universal, Fox, Paramount, Warner, Sony, MGM, Disney (very limited)
Shout! Factory - Universal, Fox, Warner, Sony, MGM
Olive Films: MGM, Paramount
Arrow US: MGM, Universal
Kino Lorber: MGM, Fox, Disney (ABC Films/Selznick/Touchstone/Hollywood), Universal

MGM includes post-1986 MGM, United Artists, Orion, American International, Filmways, Empire, Sherwood, Nelson, Samuel Goldwyn Company, some Castle Rock
Warner Bros. has their own films, pre-1986 MGM and most RKO, current licensor of classic Samuel Goldwyn films
Universal has their own films plus the 1929-1949 Paramount library
Paramount owns their pre-1929 surviving films, post-1948 films, Republic/Spelling/NTA/etc library (now called "Melange Pictures"), and most non-Touchstone co-produced DreamWorks.
Disney owns ABC Films, Selznick International (part of ABC Films), some Cinerama Releasing Corporation, and Touchstone/Hollywood Pictures.

I really don't give a poo poo about the trinkets they put in there with the discs and would be delighted to buy that for less money without that crap anyway. It might just be one of those things like the Adam West show where the first release was a "LIMITED EDITION!!!!!!!!!!!!" which cost more money because there was a toy car and some bullshit.

It's not a vendetta or anything, I just want to know if I can buy this later or if I should pre-order it before they sell out forever and you have assholes selling it on ebay for several hundred dollars. Being able to pay less money for it because it doesn't have the ugly figurines is a bonus.
