PSA: make sure you boot up and update XMage as much as you need to. Last time we had a lot of instances - myself included - where we had to wait 30 minutes or so before we could actually play.

Once the servers started cooperating, Madtrixr bested me 2-0. Pro tip: apparently you can Red Elemental Blast an opponent's Illusions of Grandeur before the lifegain to have them straight up lose 20 instead, which is great if they have no FoW ready.

Yeah I thought I hosed up but turns out Illusions lifegain is a trigger that can be responded to with it on the field so I figured what the hell why not and yeah it worked out. The more you know I guess.

Elyv won the whole thing, and won something from Black Potus, but also won a Masters Edition pack on MTGO from me. They don't play MTGO though, so I opened it. This is actually insanely above average for a MED pack, both draftwise and valuewise.
