Get a good lock (a solid u-lock is what you want), namely one with an insurance policy that if your bike gets stolen, they'll replace it. Whenever you lock your bike, capture both the frame and the rear tire with it (it's how I lock mine up: https://i.imgur.com/rom0hbP.jpg). The cables are an added bonus to discourage people from walking away with your front tire. Also breakdowns happen on cars too. Bike breakdowns tend to be mostly flat tires, which is an easy fix with some practice. I'm currently running a tube that had a hole in it and fixed it myself. It's held up over 60 miles so far, so if I can do it, so can you

The translation speed for BLACK is crazy. The Gonorrhea bacteria all say "lonely" because it is a Japanese pun. Gonorrhea in Japanese is 淋病, and 淋 can also mean "lonely" in Japanese, so the Gonorrhea are acting like Pokemon by repeating their own name.

The manga is very good, but Black does tackle subject matter that would be inappropriate for the main story. Personally I find the stories in Black super bleak (even though they are interesting) and I'm happy they're adapting the main story which has extremely good moments. Still waiting for the appearance of (future characters obviously) Lactose and pals.

It's an monster/ailment of the week type structure and mostly comedy with some serious bits sprinkled in. It's not deep writing but it is pretty funny. The art is real good and I like how it plays around with art styles. And the way the character design adapts these real life biological structures is fun too.

In Black, the MC Red Blood Cell seems to actually have a devoloping character arc, which is neat to see since all the cast in the main manga are pretty static

I think the main series is more of an edutainment series. It doesn't necessarily need dynamic characters, it's primary purpose is to educate. Black, at least, seems to be more slanted towards the darker/taboo portions of the body, and seems to have the stories connected more than the main series.
