Re. psych, Earthless collaborated with loads of great bands at Roadburn including Kikagaku Moyo, also Minami Deutsch, Damo Sukuzi all playing crossover shows. and honestly they were way better than the standard Earthless set, just flawless set after flawless set of hour long nonstop jams. Amazing chemistry, flow, musicianship. Definitely don't miss it if you're at all into that side of things. Also, is it me or is Metallica by Black Sheep Wall one of the best songs of its genre? It's still my favourite sludge song of the past decade. (also god those lyrics :I )

I just binge revisited Asunder's entire discography over the past day and goddamn, those dudes were onto something. What’s the small piece of equipment that Wata has on a stand next to her when playing live, anyone know? Their bass levels shook that thing off last night and it landed right on her pedals, knocking the wah into high position but she made it through like a champ.

It looks all closed up, maybe she just uses it as little ebow table?  an old bandmate had an ebow and that thing was so fun, makes me want to get one in my hands again too!
