Did anyone ever figure out if, since Niantic extended the evolve time to Monday to get Last Resort, we would have a huge window open to receive Last Resort at the start of Sunday's community day event until 1pm PST Monday? I assume the windows for us to get Last Resort are going to be 11am-2pm PST Saturday, and then 11am PST Sunday-1pm PST Monday. Wish they'd specify because a lot of locals are nervous about evolving an Eevee they want after 2pm on Sunday when community day normally ends. I guess the Sunday community day just means all the extra Eevee spawns only go from 11am-2pm as usual and they'll turn them off but leave the Last Resort carry-over from evolve eligible to 1pm Monday mainly as a chance for people to walk 10km if they wanted it on an Espeon/Umbreon. Some people said Last Resort is alright on an Espeon and Flareon if you wanted like a neutral all-rounder attacker, but who doesn't have good type advantage members to switch to unless you're like early level 20s and lower?

Those were Guardian Portals in Ingress, submitted by players specifically to be inaccessible to others. I'm a little confused about this community day. As far as I've understood, I should walk an eevee to 10 km before monday and evolve it during the day for a Espeon, otherwise just evolve some before Monday and hope for a Flareon?

my favorite local pokestop is called "stanky water fountain" or something to that effect. it's on the other side of town so i really only see it on special raid days (ie zapdos, articuno, and the upcoming moltres days), which bums me out 'cause i'd love to inundate all the goons on my friends list with stanky water.

There's a "lady parts sculpture" stop not far away from my girlfriend's place which is a top tier gift. When I go traveling I like to rack up the Seattle Seahawks 12th man club gifts at the airport to send to my TFF brethren to keep up the image that the 12th man are indeed insufferable assholes.

Places with higher spawn density such as your triple pokestop downtown area are perfect and will have a steady stream of Eevee during the three hours. The most recent Squirtle community day also tied spawns in with research rewards by rewarding the special sunglasses squirtle and a higher shiny chance. Prior to that, Larvitar and Charmander CD had special themed tasks but I believe the rewards were mostly just items like ultra balls.

I have a full friend list, so I rage open the 20 I can and send every gift I spin up. I know there's lots of goons with gifts in limbo in my list, I'm getting to you! Hot tip: If you select a gift to send/receive, mash the X button immediately after clicking "Open" or "Send" and it will back out to the friend menu but still process the action. It skips the animation for the gift opening or postcard being sent, but you can always check the journal afterwards for a recap of what you've received. You can save dozens of seconds by powering through your friend's gifts this way.
