Saints fans that watched the game, can any of you tell me where Ben Paton played tonight? Did our idiot coaches do their normal thing of playing a new player in a completely different position to the one that they play in the VFL?

Yeah early on I kept noticing him as the closest player to our forward 50 while it was in the the Bombers forward fifty. Didn't notice him deep when it went down our end, though, just hanging around the 50. Second half he seemed to be a high half back.

I can't wait till Carlton will get a priority pick and Gold Coast get a pick after their first as compo and the Saints first pick is dropped back by 2 spots.

Barrett is suggesting on AFL.com that the Saints get a priority pick too. Which is loving ridiculous because you can't keep throwing kids into these teams and be expecting things to turn around when St Kilda has such poo poo coaching and player development that there's no wonder that players aren't improving.
