jimmie gonna do that thing he does where he runs like poo poo and then wins the race except he's gonna do it with the championship instead

Jimmie makes Homestead, the Big 3 wreck out racing for the win, Jimmie wins the championship with a 19th place finish, NASCAR blows their system up again and causes more chaos. Did we ever figure out what Dillon hit? It exploded like it was a brake rotor or caliper.

I thought it looked awfully dense, squarish, and a bit like a battery myself. Too spoopy.

NASCAR still saying where the battery came from is a mystery. Hmm so confusing, did a fans battery end up on the track?

I turned the race off before the victory lane poo poo and as such just saw Harvick taking his kid out there and actually getting him on track. That's pretty awesome. I poo poo on the guys carrying babies around victory lane earlier this season and stand by that opinion. Sticking your kid in the passenger window of a Cup car to hold the flag to victory lane? Bad rear end. Get him in some go karts. (I still named a kid Keelin first. rear end in a top hat.)

While stages have reduced phantom debris cautions, it does bunch up the racers. What I'm saying is that if it wasn't for stages, we'd probably see the entire field lapped.

That may have been the case a while back, but since the repave there is only really one groove, and you can't get closer than 2-3 car lengths without stalling out.
|
# ? Aug 14, 2018 16:39 |

I know it has to be done occasionally but there is nothing like a repave to completely poo poo up a track for years. Imagine how bad Atlanta is going to suck when they finally can't put the repave off any longer.

maybe if brian france fucks off or is forced out they'll finally take a ton of downforce off the cars and give them more mechanical grip so that they finally fix the issue of immediately slowing way the gently caress down as soon as you so much as sniff the dirty air from the car in front that has plagued the series since the car of tomorrow first came into being also maybe i can snap my fingers and make unicorns fly out of my urethra
|
# ? Aug 14, 2018 17:22 |

it should be hard to pass (so slow cars can defend from fast cars which is exciting) but the cars should be able to get close to each other, so the defense comes from driving skill and not just bad aero. i figure this is pretty obvious but nobody at NASCAR seems to care that much
