After a new MMO game actually releases, it's always poo poo, and all the exploits are fixed and carebear controls are in. So everyone quits. But we're talking about a $30 investment here to have a lot of fun for a month. And it's $30 and you jump in right away to an almost finished game a month from release to grief people who take it too seriously. The more poorly defined and imaginary the game is, the longer it can last.
