yeah options and margin trading were originally ways to do small scale hedging like I buy $100 mil of stock A but I get a $5 mil put option in case it goes to poo poo but then some coked out financial wizards in the 70s were like "hey what if the risky part was the whole investment???" and the rest is history

you can lock yourself out of your tesla if youre not in cellphone range and you only have the app to get in to the car yes it will let you get in and drive away without the key fob if you have the app tell it to

He didn't do it because the idea of working in a steel factory for his entire adult life spooked him into doing better at school nowadays people with a high school degree get to work 8pm -> 2am slinging drinks for minimum wage and that's if they're lucky My son is due to be born in a couple of months and it's the biggest thing I'm scared for him, he will grow up with great parents and a lot of love/support and I'm not sure if it's going to mean poo poo in another two decades
