Part of me hopes that he was "merely" caught with a lot of it and that they're just reporting the total capacity of all the storage media they seized. Like that would be an unimaginable amount of porn even if it was non-reprehensible adult porn.

The next day I got fired for "letting the police steal the computer" and I should "have just asked him to leave".

I was fixing a friends computer back in high school when I chanced upon all his subscribed usenet categories. I didn't see any images, but I quickly got the hell out of there and dropped him like a bad habit. The scene where his commander explains what he found out about how the FBI rotates people off such assignments while he stayed at this for years and years, and apologizes ...
