Rebel Heart forgot his sense of survival.

This Starlord succumb to his rivals’ ambition,

To send his morals into a violent transition.



Evil won the battle through deceit and sin,

Opened a heart to let darkness creep in.

But the war rages on with no end in sight.

Rebel Heart. Black Heart. Destined to fight.

Suffered crippling pain yet always in the fight,

Over one-hundred beers by the end of the night.



Inside the ring this behemoth was prevailing,

Outside the ring his giant frame was failing.

Fans filled-up buildings from floor to the ceiling,

Andre never showed pain he was always concealing.



Yet not all were so applauding, supportive and sweet,

Branded as a freak by strangers on the street.

He shrouded his agony with lashings of beer,

It’s hard to imagine he could ever shed a tear.



What made Andre so iconic and famously tall,

Ultimately was the cause of his painful downfall.

Although his mighty spirit was desperate to stay,

His body failed his soul when the icon passed away.



His death brought a tear to even the hardest of men,

There’ll never be another like this giant again.

Despite the imitators and an occasional knockoff,

There’ll never be another like Andre Roussimoff.

I walked onto the courtyard, dressed in school uniform.

And suddenly, to my surprise, classmates began to swarm.



All the kids gathered round and franticly said,

“Haven’t you heard? Eddie Guerrero is dead.”

With one fell swoop, my happiness had drowned.

I couldn’t believe what I’d heard that day on the playground.



I didn’t trust what I was hearing, I knew it was a lie.

That is until I tuned in and saw the wrestlers cry.

I’d seen him alive and well just a few days before.

How could it be that my hero was no more?



I couldn’t get over it, my first experience of death.

My one true idol had breathed his final breath.

When he was in the ring, wrestling was an art.

He lied, he cheated, and stole a place in my heart.



I wasn’t ready to say goodbye, you had so much left to do.

You always gave your everything, and for that I must thank you.

Whether blinded by crimson, or flooded in sweat,

Your face is a memento that I never will forget.



Although you’re no longer here, although you are no more,

I’ll never forget those memories born on my living room floor.

And now although you’re gone, although I wasn’t ready.

You’re still my hero. My idol. The one and only, Eddie.

The Andre and Eddie Guerrero poems both seem to be heavily based on The Legend of Chavo Guerrero by the Mountain Goats. The Eddie one even uses some of the same lyrics.

And quite apart from that, surely the phrase "Card subject to change" means that this is entitled fanboy / agenda based whining. The card has *always* been subject to change, no excuses have *ever* been offered, and WWE have often played fast and loose with cards. There's literally no issue here.

I remember a POST wrestling podcast from earlier this year where Wai Ting defended false advertising Brock and Ronda by saying it made the TV more unpredictable and the live audience should know that WWE does that.
