Managed an intentional 11 chain in practice yesterday. It gets tricky not color conflicting or otherwise boning myself. Anyway hmu if you want to play on switch or do some puyo vs on pc.

i've tried to get into puyo, but my brain just cant wrap around it correctly i bought puyo puyo tetris for the switch, but just end up playing straight tetris because setting up any sort of combo just doesn't seem to click for me.

yeah I practiced in solo mod. seems to go fine, but any time I try to set up any chain I end up blocking myself because it just doesn't make sense to me. probably because im a broke-brained idiot but maybe i'll give it a shot again

The in game tutorial teaches you stairs but I actually found it got easier once I started learning gtr instead. If the transition is the tricky part it might help. I got matched with number 37 in the world. I looked over at his screen and it looked like absolutely nothing to me then it somehow resolved into a power 9. It was cool.

the PPT tutorial blows dicks cause you just watch a movie instead of actually getting your hand held. every other puyo game since puyo puyo 7 has the exact same tutorial except you can play through it step by step

Land Maker (I think it's called Builder's Block or something like that in the US) is the third-best computer video game I've ever played. The Playstation version has the original arcade version but also a more somber puzzle version and a head-to-head mode based on that because I guess the arcade mode wasn't enough? If you find solo mode is moving a little too fast for you to get things down I've found this trainer helpful: https://www.lexaloffle.com/bbs/?tid=4109 It's a basic puyo setup but the pieces don't drop automatically, giving you time to see how things fit together.
