I find it dumb that you can get traded to the Yankees and be forced to abide by their dumb bullshit. In some alternate universe that I could actually play baseball and was somehow good enough to play it professionally, I'd ask for the contractual power to tell the Yankees to gently caress off with that. Somehow I doubt it's that simple, but I am curious if some clause like that is allowed in MLB contracts.

Its not like they're going to spend the money on anything useful anyway. A competent front office could have put together a competitive team the last two seasons. Instead we got Kendry Morales and Randall Grichuk and Jaime Garcia and shall i continue. Edit: And ya I think he'd be worth the 18 million next year, he only needs to be worth like 3 wins, and Vlad Jr shouldn't be playing third base anyway.
