so there are some lovely jobs that you can probably communize in a post-scarcity society, like you really don't need a dedicated janitor just like you don't need a dedicated maid, just have people take turns doing cleanup poo poo. and then of course the tons of paper-pushing jobs whose only purpose is to build up profits without actually producing anything beneficial to society will go away. but shaggar is right in that no one is a loving janitor because they enjoy cleaning up after other people for other lovely jobs that are absolutely necessary there needs to be a strong incentive to do them, which idk can still be cash? like if you are going to be out all day busting your rear end building houses and poo poo you should be able to afford a nice house in return etc?

in practice its generally best at production, trade, and personal freedom which in turn lead to better quality of life. people will claim variations of fascism (ex: communism) are more efficient but in practice they end up with bad leaders making bad choices while systemically oppressing their people. that said theres something to the ability of the Chinese to steal ideas from other countries and force them onto everyone in short order.
