I had something like that at one of those "trendy" ultimate milkshake restaurants in amsterdam and it was more annoying/awkward to eat than anything. It's obvious when you start eating them that the main consideration was people photographing it rather than eating it. Still good, though.

Only once have I seen anyone attempt to eat one of the more ridiculous parfaits available on a Japanese menu. It was this one, which really isn't too bad considering what else is out there: Two guys in their late teens or early 20s were sharing this ~$36 dessert, which sounds about right. It got to the point where they were using the cones to scoop stuff out of the bowl. Again, pretty tame compared to this monster, available a block or so away for a whopping ~$455. I'm not sure anyone has ever ordered, but everyone's taken a picture of this wax model.

The pizza and macaroni burger( or whatever they are) things look delicious, just incredibly impractical. Any burger whose contents blorp out the back as soon as you pick it up should have its burger license revoked.
