I FaceTimed with my girlfriend today, and when Lando heard my voice, he started barking and kept staring at the front door. 😭 I did get to watch my good boy do some tricks while I watched! Here he is, waiting in eager anticipation.

I've been backing up photos off of my phone, and I found the first ever pictures I took of Apollo! I adopted him on 9/12/2017 and ohhh my goodness that's coming up here, I'll have owned him for a whole year and I just... he's one of the best things to ever happen to me. Here are three photos I took on 9/12 - the first is my first ever shot of him, we're standing on the lawn of the shelter and he's overwhelmed by everything. The second is him in the car coming home, sitting in my lap. The third is much later that day at home.

Sometimes I would sleep on the couch and wake at night crying in pain and he would get out of his room with one eye open so sleepy and sit next to me trying to console me by placing his head by my leg until I stopped crying and then go back to his room to sleep various times throughout the night. Once in my room when we slept I started crying of pain and had to throw up and he ran to my moms room to wake her and bring her to check on me. He’d bop her and bop her and would grab her sleeve to bring her to me. My mom found me on the floor sick and crying. Kobe really helped me out during my post surgery and was my comfort, guardian, and angel. I will always be grateful for it and since than let him sleep on my bed with me every night.  20/10, nominate Kobe for bestestboi award.

My buddy just asked me if I'd be willing to dogsit for his Golden at the end of the month He's like "Oh I'll get you a bunch of beer and foodstuffs". I told him I'd do it for free. We settled on a case of Troegs Perpetual.

And some people say that sequels aren’t as good as the first. Good boy, Coby! In Lando news, my girlfriend took him to visit a street fair yesterday and he enjoyed it and stayed calm despite all the people and smells!
