Has anyone else noticed the floodgates open and bunch of hentai slide puzzles with "Hentai" right in their titles popping up? I get three or four in my queue every time I look through it nowadays. I wish there was a "straight up porn" tag I could block, for what good blocking tags does. The sexual content tag appropriately pops up in good games where the player getting his jollies off isn't the main point. There should be something separate for porn if porn is a-okay on the marketplace.

I'd say they could possibly make more money than your typical grey-market card printing scam-job as your average horny teen may buy it in a moment of weakness. It also seems to be the current dumping ground of the 'something something-BOOBS' sub-genre of lovely games, which means hopefully I'll be able to escape games like that showing up in my reccomended list all the time.

Like lots of movies have cheesy topless scenes that exist for no reason beyond putting a topless scene in the movie, but it's still qualitatively different than straight up wank material. That's why "sexual content" isn't a super helpful tag in this regard. Something explicitly identifying porn as such would be a lot more meaningful as a filter.

The thing that bothered me the most about that was the protagonist's love interest was introduced as the "best sniper" they had. She then missed every shot, got kidnapped, had sex with you, and didn't even go to the final battle despite being such a supposedly great soldier. Her only purpose as the only named female character was to get pregnant and share your heroics with your child. Can't say I was impressed with the narrative surrounding her.

For some reason I never noticed the gender bias in metro 2033 when I played it, which had 0 named women in it at all, but it really stood out to me in last light with its 1 named female character who transparently exists just to have sex with the protagonist. Last light in general is a lot worse on the character/story front.
