There was a straggler on discord, but he said he was rounding the corner and to start the lobby. Some people in my normal raid group asked why he didn't tag someone asking to back out and assured him that I don't normally do that, and he went off on a tangent about "mansplaining" and how "he's probably not a bad person but he was already on my blacklist, now he's banned from this group, I'm done wasting dollars if he doesn't wait."

We're two days away from being ultra friends and I don't know what I did to get on his original blacklist(?), and the only mistake I made was not popping back to discord to make sure he was in, but it kinda sucks that several people not in my normal raid group bought into his diatribe. I get it, everyone has lost a pass because people started early and that sucks, but that's taking it to another level.

What, did he think the two of you were going to duo an articuno?

How much egg progress do you lose when you "go too fast?" I have been crawling along with the lowest gear on my bicycle, going 7-9 km/h, but some times (maybe gps drift pushes it over the limit???) I get the "you're going too fast" dialog.

Do I lose the distance travelled during last minute? The next minute? Last 10 minutes?

Also lately my in-game position has lagged hundreds of meters behind where I actually am. It also feels like there is a rubber band or something between my real position and the in-game position because my avatar will cut corners severely if i stop and wait for the position to catch up. (this has caused my go-tcha to miss pokestops several times)

Distance tracking sucks poo poo and it's pointless trying to game it. Out of curiosity I tried running with the app open when I ran a 10k earlier this week and by the end of the run I'd only gained 1.2km. A quick internet search found this reddit thread where they discuss it in more detail, but long story short: the game pings your location every minute, and if you're more than 175m from your last position it won't count any of that minute's movement. This translates to a 10.5kph upper limit. I run 10k in about 45 minutes hence my run counting for basically nothing. The other thing that's relatively new is the game only updates the displayed egg distance every 8 minutes now instead of 4.
