That was The Office. Pam was pregnant and wanted to see if Jim was lying about being attracted to her replacement, so Dwight tried to see if he had a boner by pretending to fall and catch Jim for balance.

You guys like to bitch about Sunny, but late-season Office was so much worse.

Thank you SO much, I was going nuts, my friend was looking at me like "uhhh"

During the later seasons of The Office they should have just filled the set with nitrogen and filmed everyone slowly dying, and it would have been more entertaining.

I don't remember that scene but Dwight trying different ways to sneak a grab of Jim's dick for an episode sounds WAY funnier than most of what I remember from the office.

I thought the meta stuff in the latest episode was a bit blatant but it ended with Artemis spiking an entire plane full of people with ayahuasca so the ends justify the means

I think I would have liked this better without Artemis's running meta commentary. Maybe an introduction just to be sure the audience is on the same page ("yes, we're calling out stuff like the Ghostbusters reboot!"), but by continually bringing it back up it made the whole thing feel more forced.

I've been following the show since 2009 and it's insane to me how it's one of the few shows that I can just watch and laugh until I basically have to stop and go to the toilet to avoid peeing myself. Whenever I feel a little downtrodden, I ask myself in my head "What's the time?" and I smile like a moron.

Also, Dee ruining a man's life because she was called his "rock bottom" was one of the funniest things the show has done, and that was last season!

They should've just done a shot for shot remake of the Wade Boggs one, but with an all women cast just for the weirdness of it.

But instead it's the Waitress and Artemis doing it.

The meta line in this episode was kinda jarring. Compared to the "The Gang Tries to Win an Award" episode, it was not very... organic? I guess that's the word. However, unfortunately and paradoxically the meta narrative was right, rehashing old material doesn't work if you have no original ideas, and they didn't have any this time. Disappointing.

Specifically, instead of developing and refining the old episode's premise, they somehow managed to spend the reboot doing less with the same material. spreading the premise thin without adding anything.

Yeah, Artemis's constant meta explaining made the (already kind of forced) concept feel even more forced. This show works best when everything feels organic no matter how crazy and outlandish it actually is.

It was still an okay episode, though.

I'm not quite sure I like the heavy meta direction of this season. It's cool in principle, but this utter lack of effort to keep in in-character is really jarring.

Also I am quite disappointed how quickly the ayahuasca gag got cut off. It clearly should have been few minutes of completely over the top Aristocrats smearing poo poo all over the plane as Artemis rejoices in her plan.

There were a lot of women wearing cat/animal ear hats and they seemed to randomly have them in one scene and then not have them in others. Was waiting for something about that but maybe it got cut.
