Best Beto/Cruz chat has to be on Nextdoor. I only stay on it for the lost pet notifications but occaisionally see some crazy posts that are worth the admission fee. Currently, in one my nearby neighborhoods someone claiming Beto supporters defaced their Ted Cruz yard sign.  It seems as credible as the girl who had a backwards B carved into her face by crazed Obama supporters in 2008 but hey, what do I know. Now, if it was mocked up to suggest Cruz was the Zodiac killer, I might believe it was a Beto supporter

West Texas sign update: I've seen several Beto signs around town in the last month. However, there's been a sudden upcropping of Cruz signs in the last week or so. I guess they finally got their order placed. There's probably an equal amount around here now. Still haven't seen any bumper stickers for either one though.

One sign I've started to see mixed in with the usual clusters is "Vote Republican: Keep Texas Strong" which is interesting. Pure partisan affiliation. Don't know if it's a wise message or not. One of the county activists just wrote she has ordered 1000.

No, dumbasses, it's justified by the fact that it's a public place and Cruz chose to make himself a public figure, which means he is entitled to a lessened expectation of privacy.

I've since seen close to half a dozen Cruz signs and 4-5 Culberson signs as well (and one Abbott sign). So, the Rs aren't losing enthusiasm around here at least. We've had a couple door knocks from some D campaigns (no Beto or Lizzie ones that I know of, though), none from R ones at least. TX-07 is going to be super close I feel.
