I can't blame GSP for not wanting to fight Hendricks. He was wrecking shop with most of 170. I'll forever be grateful to Bigg Rigg for solving the fitch problem. His KO of Kampmann is one of my favorite knockouts ever.

I think Vitor and Johny are the two biggest hurt by USADA implementation. I don't think anyone crashed remotely as hard as they did. I can't say they were the only cheaters pre-USADA, because everyone was hilariously dirty. No one else just completely loving fell off when they had to get clean, though.

I wonder if Barao was another USADA victim, within a few years he went from 30 straight wins to getting battered by some no name gift opponent they gave him on a Brazil card.

I'm not sure Hendricks was on steroids, but he, and a lot of others, used the gently caress out of diuretics to cut weight. Those same diuretics are, of course, banned as masking agents. Now, I mean, he was definitely on steroids, but I think the loss in weight cutting assistance via diuretics is what hurt Hendricks, Barao, and others the most.

he was done when he lost his speed. and he totally stopped being able to muscle guys around. he was an attribute fighter who lost all his attributes. idk if that's because of steroids but i'm guessing it is.

Barao’s flaws were always there, he just fought when the top of the division was fairly weak. I remember people here calling out his poor footwork and tendency to punch flat footed and stay in the pocket as things that would eventually get him beat, well before TJ came along and did those things.

Aldo is very good and really hasn't had much of a decline, but the circumstances behind his spilled pee-pee cup are really suspect. I was talking more specifically Barao's decline.
