And 2017 compares pretty similarly to 2016 and 2015, though he played a lot fewer games in 2015 with a lot fewer HRs. Obviously he's having an MVP-calibre year, but you can't say his stats are on-par with previous years.

No idea how true that is but that was Dusty's take.
