McGregor is probably the most accurate striker since Anderson in his prime in MMA.

There is absolutely a difference between him and everyone else Khabib has fought.

With respect to Barboza who's probably one of the best pure strikers going around McGregor is much better at knocking people out. Edson has two knockouts in 5 years and the similarities as far as striking goes... aren't exactly numerous.

Eddie Alvarez took shots to the dome from RDA, Pettis, Melendez. Took everything Cerrone threw at him at well and stayed up. When McGregor cracked him his world ended.

yeah i think youre right. khabib might get tired if hes gettin cracked tho

it's like that all over the UK for whatever reason. the fight seems like a pretty big deal here so i'm not surprised that his whiskey is flying off the shelves.

e: oops that's in ireland, i didn't see the euro sign. i guess there's as much booze theft there as in the uk.

Conor has spent his career boxing up FWs. Eddie walked directly into McGregor’s power hand over and over. Chad$ said McGregor didn’t hit harder than a lot of FWs, but he was very accurate.

I think McGregor is a pick’em still against a guy like Barboza. Conor’s only chance is a lucky shot.

Remember when Urijah Faber picked up and just moved Conor when they squabbled outside a bathroom a few years ago?

Alright so two things:

1. I'm fuckin pissed that my business went, well, out of business so I had to go back to my old job. I work every other Saturday night and this week I'm working. I was gonna buy some Proper 12 and get stupid drunk watching the fights and now that's ruined.

2. I like McGregor a lot, but I want him to lose. I know it probably won't do anything but I'd like to see him actually do some fights. If he drops a couple he'll still be marketable but we'll hopefully get to see "Redemption arc Conor" where he fights Ferguson, Barboza, maybe Pettis or something. I like his fights. I just think he's way too high on his own supply right now. He needs a good humbling.

They need to stop having these superfights if they're going to just require the guys to give up the belts before they can defend them

Besides regardless of what weight class he fights Jones in he's not going to have that belt after that fight anyway so the problem will solve itself

i think its possible for him to beat jon jones. the first fight was a good showing even if he lost every round. he landed some hard uppercuts. and in the second fight jones was definitely on steroids. maybe cormier was too but theres no evidence to suggest he was
