Biking to school today I see a bunch of crows picking at a bag on the road. Being a friend of birb, I decide to do them a solid and slice it open for them. It looks like a package of bacon or something, which has gotta be a choice score for some crows. Open it and a hundred dead rats fall out of the thing. Probably from a reptile store or something, but I have no clue how it ended up there. I'd like to think that a bunch of crows planned out a heist from a pet shop and were just working on getting at their spoils, and the final step was to wait until someone came by to cut the bag open for them. They went to town on it, and the place I dumped them was picked clean on the ride home, so I hope I made some crow buddies today.

my nephew was super annoyed that everytime he heard the kookaburra, and ran to it, but it stopped right when he arrived. i tried to explain that its a "song" that it does and it has an end and it doesnt matter how fast you run if you hear it too late... deep thoughts.
