Yeah, the Scrubs DVDs are almost entirely intact (I think there's one song missing); I remember watching them with my ex-wife, then going back and watching it on Hulu recently and I was like  A large part of the issue is that when a lot of these shows were being made, no one had the slightest clue that streaming media would be A Thing, so the rights were never negotiated, and that kind of stuff doesn't just get automatically grandfathered in.

I don't think the lone season of Journeyman ever came out on DVD in Region 1 because of all the period-specific music that would need to be licensed.

At one point they suddenly replace Andy with Yoda going "Mmmhhmmm!" for about five seconds and I remember dying laughing. It was late 90s I think. Too obscure probably.

I barely stumbled on this when Deon came on, and was like oh awesome one of the old writers! I'm so sad they're having to cut the band. Does this mean Andy is gone again too? Was kinda hoping for an appearance from Max if this is the Basic Cable Band's last hurrah.

So when he goes to the half an hour format, I know he said he'd be doing more travel shows and remote bits (which I am all about), but does that mean he won't be doing any characters anymore? No more Minty The Candy Cane Who Fell On The Ground, WikiBear, etc.? Seems like a double-edged sword to me. Some of those classic bits were like a crazy person lashing out against the talk show format he was forced into. Without the format, would those jokes work? Maybe not. But he can also get rid of the aspects of the format that weigh him down.
