He has verbally stated to ROH he's staying and the actual reason he why he dropped the NWA is that Joe Koff didn't want the NWA title on TV anymore. Final Battle spoiler: Cody is currently scheduled to lose to Jay Lethal at Final Battle. If that happens there's nothing to be read into there.

Right now there is no match time or place and even though there were ROH vs. Impact matches on the cruise, ROH and Impact aren’t working together on anything going forward right now. But so much about the business could change in January and anything could happen after that.

I know we joke about the buzz but I am actually pretty stoked for Global Wars in Toronto next weekend. So far we have announced: Jay Lethal defending against Kenny King SCU defending against Super Smash Bros Dalton Castle and Juice Robinson against Naito and Bushi Sabin and Kushida against the Bucks Cody against Trent Beretta I think it will be a fun show.

He's still good now, it's just noticeably nowhere near the quality he was regularly putting out during his longest/best reign Which would still be fine if his matches weren't top billing still despite being at best the third-most interesting on the card. It reminds me of the latter part of Finn's NXT title reign where the shows would have been perfect if only his matches hadn't been the ones closing, it's not an indictment of him so much as there's much better matches on the show that have nothing to do with him.
