Boris Galerkin: Dec 17, 2011; I don't understand why I can't harass people online. Seriously, somebody please explain why I shouldn't be allowed to stalk others on social media!

The watch app is both great and blows. Honestly, it�s great for passively tracking steps for egg hatching and buddy candy. That�s basically what it does. But it won�t catch Pok�mon for you, and as an earlier user mentioned, the notifications aren�t worth it.

I work retail, so I�m on my feet and walking all day. I just run the watch app most days, I get like, 3-5km a day, and battery is usually at 20% by the end of a 8-9 hour shift (series 3). When I go out for whatever events, I do also sometimes run it then, I get get steps while both focusing on whatever I�m doing (like talking to people) and use my phone for other stuff when needed.

Eh, I think this is going to be a pass for me then. I was just hoping to get cool ~~achievements~~pokemon just for going about my day. Oh well, no big deal. Thanks for the responses.

That's what I'm thinking, yeah.

I see a Turtwig and Chimchar at nearby stops. Nothing else has spawned nearby yet, probably because the active spawns still need to expire.

Yep I got one too. Probably from logging into different devices with my phone. All my spoofing is done on an alt account.

I said nothing about any of the other Gen IV Pokemon, I'm cool with the rest. Bidoof is just a very bad pokemon and I hate him. I refused to catch him in Pearl so his Pokedex entry wouldn't curse my Pokedex.

Apparently Chatot and Carnivine are regional exclusives, which follows the usual trend of singling out a couple non-evolving Pokemon to use as regionals.

Reports are suggesting that Chatot spawns in the southern hemisphere and Carnivine might be restricted to the southern US. (Carnivine's range actually makes sense if true, since venus flytraps are native to the Carolinas, but they'd want to expand that to more than a tiny patch of the east coast.)
