I feel like Progress On Demand is weirdly underrated considering it also gives you DEFY and AAW for $8/mo. Progress also has much better turnaround time on getting VODs up than other promotions I know of hell, AAW's own on demand service is $8/mo, and they put a huge delay on the subscription VODs because they sell them separately for a couple weeks; I think it goes up on Progress On Demand at the same time. no idea what the deal is there

I could rearrange everything but I'm not really keen on doing all that for just the one service. You can cast from your phone as long as there's an app. I mean, part of what I think makes Chromecast so appealing is that even if there isn't an app you can cast from your computer but unless you got good wireless, a wired hookup, or a laptop that might be problematic. also Highspots seems kinda terrible for anything remotely current? they have a weird smattering of big shows for some other promotions with their own services, but when it comes to like PWG and PROGRESS, their last uploads are like a year old powerbomb.tv seems way better in that regard. their offering is similarly scattershot, but they have a core of Beyond + WWR + Nova Pro that's pretty loving killer. also they have a roku app that's "in beta" but it looks like it's easy to try

I actually used to turn that Pluto channel on in the background when I had a wrestling itch. Most of it was whatever but it was just background. Now i kind of do the same with their Twitch channel. Or some AAA channel that plays stuff from like a decade ago. The Twitch channel is better because you can actually pick and choose stuff and those live events they do are actually kind of fun to watch. But like that's a selective "I have nothing to do and miss wrestling" thing and not something I'd pay money for.

Yeah, switch to Twitch. They show old poo poo all mixed in from the different eras, plus the outside co-sponsored shows they do, and weird rear end original shows. And you can pick archived broadcasts you RW or FF through. Its actually kind of fun and good.

Thank you for the previous answers . Here is new patch of q's 1) Orton used to do a kick rear end springboard crossbody, where he got very huge air. Why did he stop it and does anybody on roster do it. 2) Why is overdrive everybodys first finisher and why is it so hated? 3) Lil Guido used to do a reverse pedigree type of move (he put his rear end on back of opponents head and sit out) . It looked very cool, does anybody use it anymore? 4).Why doesnt "shooter" /MMA fighter gimmicks never work? Is it because wrestling punches look akward ? Is it the using of wrestling moves? I have always figured that a gimmick of "too violent for MMA" straight killer would draw well.. 5).Why Hardys "broken" gimmick did so well and became popular?

Its because of the first part of your question. people don't like the overdrive (of all the this looks dumb and there's no way to do it for real moves the overdrive is one of the dumbest) 3. Not that I know of. 4. answered already 5. It came out during a time when WWE was kinda stale and TNA had nothing else. The hardys made the gimmick and in using it they didn't...TNA it up (though there isn't really much tna could have done to gently caress it up...other than make them lose...which is what wwe did)

Maxwell Lord posted:So I’m letting my WWE Network subscription lapse for a bit, what are some good non-WWE services on Roku? Can’t easily do NJPW. Whoever said they don't have much current is confused or something. Yes, PWG is a year behind, but they have a very specific deal with Highspots where Highspots distributes the DVDs but also gets the whole back catalog for streaming EXCEPT for the last year of shows on a rolling basis. PROGRESS, I believe, is one of many promotions that uses PivotShare's sharing feature to add stuff themselves to Highspots and does so kind of randomly (I don't know if they even have a direct deal). Because Highspots is ostensibly the most successful wrestling Pivotshare, they get a good bit of content that way, not even counting the groups they have direct deals with. For current stuff, they dependably have BAR Wrestling, WHAT, CZW, PWX, the bigger WXW show, various other southern indies, Northeast Wrestling, DEFY, AAW on a delay of a month or two, and a lot more that I'm blanking on. It's a great value. Powerbomb TV I THINK may still technically be a beta/private channel, but it's easy to set up and is probably the best value for current indie content, including live streams. Beyond Wrestling, Nova Pro, Black Label Pro, Action Wrestling, Scenic City Invitational, ISW, SUP Graps, St. Louis Anarchy, C*4, Alpha 1, various indie lucha libre groups, PWFreedom, and others all put up current content, with some being live. There's also a lot of archival content going back to the late '90s, mainly via the Smart Mark Video deal, from promotions like the FWA, IWA Mid-South, and MAW. For indie wrestling, those are the go-tos. I haven't tried Title Match Wrestling Network, but they're picking up a bunch of the better NY/NJ groups like ICW, Battle Club Pro, Wrestle Pro, Wrestlers Lab, and IPW. The European groups of note all have their own channels that are worth checking out if interested. PivotShare has Power Slam TV which is the cheapest at $6 and has a solid selection culled from...well, everything, but I'm not sure how much current stuff there is.

Michael Cole hyped her as the "Living Legend" and "Final Boss" in Japan for a reason. She's been consistently one of the top women's wrestlers for a long time now and has even better matches in Japan than she does in the US.
