Visiting her this morning to drink coffee and she couldn’t really talk because she has to finish like three text books by the end of the month. It is amazing to see someone who could choose to eat Reese’s Pieces and binge watch stuff up at 9am nose in a book tackling an entire new field. I love her. If anyone is interested she was the head an an accounting department and is getting into horticulture. Literally getting to live twice. This is my brag about my Grandma thread.

My grandmother was loving awesome (besides being a member of the cult called Christian Science.) She was probably 81 when I noticed she had a copy of Uncle Tom's Cabin open on a table and I asked her about it. She said she hadn't read it yet and figured she should. She was brilliant, and never lost her intellectual curiosity. One thing I recall is when Reagan was elected she was apoplectic; she proclaimed back then it was solely because he was a "good guy movie star," ----she absolutely foresaw the destruction of America's democracy.
