Bennington is back on form lately. Ron was getting cranky dealing with his incompetent staff by himself, but now Gail is back and he's in a better mood. Earl's DNA test results were and the constant goofing on Vito for being Italian have been really funny.

Ron Bennington just sits in a chair for 3 hours a day talking about mundane current and past pop culture, makes everyone around him but his daughter the butt of all jokes, and for some reason gets flustered at people around him who do way more actual work for a full day.. cool guy.

Ya Ive never got the appeal of the guy, although I will say as a comedian he is pretty funny. As a talk show host, not so much.

Fwiw I met Ron outside the Stand last year and he was a super nice guy. I loving embarrassed to walk up and tell him I was a fan (my wife goaded me into it) but Ron was extremely gracious and even asked us a bunch of questions about where we were from, our kids etc. Nice dude, really nice dude. Zero sign of the gruff radio tough act.

I never listened to Ron & Fez before Fez locked up, but I'm assuming Ron actually progressed as a person from where he started, whereas the O&A crew seem to have halted any personal growth after their fame. I guess it worked for a long time though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Im actually liking the Cumia best of the week podcast. Its only 30 minutes so there isnt as much racism as normal cumia but his guests are normally good and funny. Its still like the 9th or 10th best podcast I listen to, but worth an occasional download.
