I wonder how many of those tapes are still salvageable. vhs is pretty resilient in comparison to other formats. it’s in no way ideal, but from my experience (half a decade of being a moving image archivist with speciality in video cassette formats), it’ll be in a lot better shape than the colon archive wwe got, or the reported huge cmll arena archive that they had when Mexico banned Lucha on tv.

F4W added a new podcast for Subscribers, Pacific Rim with Fumi Saito and Jim Valley. If you love all the quirks of WOR you will love this show. If you don't like interruptions, tangents and computer notification sounds, then this might not be the show for you. The first episode is fun for some additional Dave lore and Fumi trying as hard as he can not to talk about himself in an episode trying to introduce him to the new listener base.

I listened to the first Portland show but something about Jim Valley as the host felt off/weird to me. Pacific Rim was a podcast on its own before getting added to the empire. One of the episodes is a recording of a conversation with Brody and Fumi from back in the day that's interesting if you're interested in Brody.
