Get exam at America's Best or some other place but then ask them for your prescription and take that to the CO to get your glasses/contacts. I do this because the CO's doc wont take my insurance for the exam.

its actually 38. maybe get your eyes checked?

The optometrists at Costco are independent of the store and can charge what they want. Basically, they're just renting the space, that's why they often have a seperate external door you can use to get inside. I'm sure if they're charging $84 that's the going price on a eye exam in your area. Also, I've never been to a Costco optometrist that took insurance, you had to pay cash and submit your own claim, but that may have just been the insurance we had.

My Costco eye doc found I had a rare issue that needed treatment, that my previous 3 eye docs all missed. When I found the best retina guy in the area, it turned out he personally trained the Co eye doc. PBUC indeed, they picked an excellent independent contractor to occupy that space. Took my insurance, too.

Dinner last night was a Costco Filet Mignon, and I gotta say it was probably one of the best steaks I've had in my life. Lots of salt, seared in a cast iron skillet with plenty of butter, a whole head of garlic, and a sprig of rosemary. Then finished in the oven until a nice medium rare.

Holy poo poo this same exact thing happened to me except that the expert used to practice in costco before the current guy. Fortunately my condition ended up being pretty benign, just need to get it checked up on once a year or so.

I highly recommend the meatloaf and mashed potatoes from the deli, it's incredible. And also, some new sales started today and amongst them is buy one get one free on bagel bites, limit 5. You can buy 5 of them and get 10 if you somehow have space for all that.

No, it’s a hereditary issue that one of my parents had for years and presented in me in an atypical manner. Absolutely legit thing and likely kept me from losing vision in one eye.

I didn’t find out about the hereditary thing until after the diagnosis, had I known I would have been more diligent in looking for it. Turns out my parent actually woke up not able to see in one eye, got it fixed, and never told me.
