The only reason the hypothetical book would sell any more than it would after the show ends is morons buying it thinking that's the end of the book series. It's gonna be a re-hash of like 2 seasons ago or more with 5 useless go-nowhere panic-plots thrown in on top of the already-existing 10 go-nowhere plots because he wants to pretend he still has his own thing going on. He should just give up. Anything that actually comes out is going to be even more embarrassing than ADWD, which would make it a monumental accomplishment among literatures biggest embarrassments.
