Actually, the next time I sub to Highspots I have to remember to watch the Ted Petty Invitational 2007 because I really want to know if Eddie Kingston vs Chris Hero non-tournament brawl is as good as it is in my memory.

Rey Fenix appeared to hurt his lower abdomen/hip/groin area in his match with Barbaro cavernario tonight. Injury looked like it happened when he hit the musclebuster driver. They immediately did the finish and took Fenix off on a stretcher with legit medical personnel

DJZ was also out due to injury, so it may have been a last-minute decision after the Fenix news. If it wasn't originally planned, kudos to everyone for pulling that off. They picked the right people to go for an hour, because the crowd was right with them for most of the match.

I wouldn't go out of your way to watch it unless you have plenty of time to kill. It's very much in the vein of the Shawn/Bret ironman match in terms of early chain wrestling being drawn out for a long time and then it being clear there will be no fall by the end of an hour. It's not particularly bad, but it is also obvious where things are going so it is easy to check out. I think both guys likely wanted to say they did an hour before signing to WWE and this was the perfect chance.
