Yeah, I mean it’s believable, but I can’t find anything either via UCF twitter or searching sports news on Google.

Kinda stitched together from these two, I really hope for his sake that's overstating. My sister had a similar injury about ten years ago playing lacrosse, they did have to go in and fix arterial damage to stuff going to lower regions of the leg, like the ankle. Took her about 16 months to fully recover, and never played lacrosse again.

Like, if you really think about it, peak athleticism is pretty terrible for the human body. Sure most of these athletes are like the top 1 or 2% physically, but all the other stuff has to take a terrible toll even with non contact sports.

You look at tiger who plays a game that retired baby boomers play and has a super messed up back. There are defiantly tangible benefits to exercise but its also crazy that we legit know that all this kills the body but the money at the highest levels keeps it going.

in other news, hope the coogs dont coog it because I like the idea of a dark horse washington state in the playoffs.

My neighbor is a former college punter, and he has all kinds of back issues just from the act of trying to kick a ball as hard as he can over and over again. I guess it's like a pitcher constantly throwing as hard as he can and blowing out an elbow. The human body just wasn't meant to move like that with that much force.

if they win, and beat Utah and...

if wv wins tonight, and northwestern beats the winner of mich/tOSU

then they'd be a 1-loss power 5 team and have a legit shot over a two loss B10 or XII team.
