It was a solid episode but i would have liked to see a lot more of what goes into streaming a huge show like setups, troubleshooting, what his crew size is and what he does tech side during streams but noclip is more like a bunch of easy interview shoots rather than that sort of imbedded doc making i guess. Cool profile at least. Cool to see a bunch of places ive been and faces ive seen.

i dont get why this video wants to end on such a melancholy note. the entire buildup is to the climactic Setting Free of Evo 2011, but its immediately followed by footage of spooky doing grunt work interspersed with interview clips of 2018 spooky saying he gets no real satisfaction from streaming and that it's "just a job" and seth saying the same things about spooky too. spooky carried the entire fgc on his back for years and he didn't stop after evo 2011. and teamspooky is a pillar of the community and why is it called a teamspooky documentary when it just covers only spooky anyway if anyone wants to watch something similar to this, here is a link to Focus, the Mike Ross Documentary from 2010 https://archive.org/details/g4tv.com-video54396-flvhd

FEXL seems pretty fun. I've never played an Arika game before so it's a bit different but it feels fast and the gougi are interesting so far. Not a drat clue what I'm doing though. Can't wait for Terry so I can at least look at something familiar while sliding around the screen launching people fifty feet up and failing the juggle afterwards.

Like, Spooky started doing this poo poo to give people good-rear end streams, and getting to do Evo was dope but it wasn't "yeah I made it" to him, it was just him doing his thing well. He got satisfaction from it but it wasn't about doing THAT, that's how I took it. Also Focus is kinda sad now that we have Punished Mike Ross.

I will always remember Min accidentally showing Spooky's porn collection when trying to find obscure combo videos and Jackie Chan movies to show while everyone else was asleep.

Analog fight stick must feel weird. and even if it works, I can’t imagine it being good for digital fighting games like it says. unless you can switch it to physically click like a regular one

Still better than paid loot boxes, at least. I'm honestly a bit surprised they haven't gone the route of just letting you buy fight money yet. Not that profitability of a game should be any player's concern, but if we assume that buy the game once and you're done is a model that is dead forever, what would be the least obtrusive monetization? Are dlc characters and costumes and version updates really the least bad option? Every other FG just does the character dlc season pass which is annoying but the most "harmless", in the long term. It just means he game costs 100 instead of 60, instead of infinite money sinks for cosmetics and crap.
