Last night I forgot to turn the heater back on, so we were pretty cold and we didn't know why. After the wife left for work, I got to wake up to the dogs on both sides of my feet for maximum warmth.

It works pretty well. Also, Lando helped my girlfriend and I decorate our tiny Christmas tree. You can’t see it very well in this photo, but he’s wearing his personalized Christmas bandanna.  Also, ordering a personalized Christmas stocking for your dog is a normal thing that normal people do, right? Asking for a friend.

Poor Apollo has been through the wringer this week: I had gallstone attacks, spent Friday night in the ER, and it culminated in surgery yesterday to have my gallbladder out, and they don't let dogs into hospitals. I was out in a day, but - well. He's been glued to my side, and even had diarrhea last night from his anxiety. So yeah - neither one of us was a fan. I'm healing fine, though, and I'm spending today on the couch with him:

Glad you are ok and recovering with your pooch! If I was a doctor, I would prescribe dog cuddles to anyone without an allergy to dogs for all illnesses.
