If we're doing tasteless tattoo stories, don't remember if I've told this story but when I was like 20 I got the Batman symbol from The Dark Knight tattooed somewhat small on my upper arm (you can just Google it because that's what it looks like) That's tasteless and lovely for its own reason but the artist overcharged me and I'm pretty sure he was drunk. He also ran that studio and had a full staff. God knows what the rest of their work looked like. A week later he wrote a bunch of crazy racist poo poo in spray paint on the side of a refugee family's home and was arrested. Then he shot himself in the head.... And lived! Guess there was nothing to hit in there in the first place. It was my second tattoo and the only one I regret for several reasons. Now I have about 15 pieces and my artist is both very good and not a racist idiot. Always investigate your artist and don't get Batman tattoos.
