The reason the western business owners get all pissed off about China spending money on stuff is they're all too busy pouring all their money into stock buybacks to actually invest anywhere and it upsets them

As much hold as they have over their governments, Western financial institutions don't have the same kind of muscle to, say, foreclose on an entire foreign port.
