They're way more common now during cloudy weather. Croagunk is the same, but since it's a dual type both boosted by cloudy. Also, it's a 5k hatch. Part of me wonders if this increased distance is a way to further minimize the Nearby window and make people more reliant on pokestops (where you actually have stops, anyway). I just got my first Croagunk last Sunday (50 miles from where I live) and I still don't have Skorupi. My town has weird spawns

So I found a complete in box Gotcha at a Goodwill today for $5, but it doesn’t charge or respond at all. I see on Amazon I can get extra chargers, but what is the likelihood that the charger is broken vs the Gotcha itself?

One thing I've noticed is eggs from some places tend to hatch what is uncommon, i.e. 5k eggs would hatch Growlithe, which isn't that common where I'm at but I see them all over the place when I visit San Jose, and eggs from San Jose would hatch Swinub which are plentiful in the wild from where I'm from. So it makes it all the more frustrating that I'm hatching a 10k with that poo poo in there.

during the regional 7k event i hatched mostly tauros, which is not helpful as someone who lives an hour south of the heracross/tauros dividing line. (i've gone north of the line a few times and caught plenty of tauros already) i still don't have a kanga

I posted the other day to say a pokestop appeared near my house, whereas I previously had to walk over a mile. As of this morning there’s a gym there too. No ones even claimed it yet!

I don't know how long this has been a thing, but you can skip the opening a gift animation by tapping the open button then immediately mashing the close button while it's getting the contents from the server. Makes opening gifts way faster.

Didn't spend very long outside because it's winter in New England up here, but I did get 5 shinies! Husband only got one... One is better than none I guess? I will need to save one for a friend who was unable to do Community Day at all. My end haul was 3 Feraligatr with Hydro Cannon, one of them shiny.

Picked up 15 shinies. Not my best community day but hard to complain, couldn't summon too much enthusiasm for this one. Mall of America was packed full of people staring at their phones as is custom for Pokemon special events, along with plenty of confused and/or irritated bystanders.

Spent the whole time out, but only got 3 shinies. Still, that's all you ever need, got them PVP ready and I even hatched a Budew, Chingling AND Riolu. One more Chingling and I'll get a Chimecho!
