I got to try out AR glasses yesterday, which are cyperpunk as hell. They were Microsoft AR glasses, running a program to train insurance agents how to be effective in the field without the costly hassle of flying them to actual broken cars to train on different types of automotive damage, which is dystopic as gently caress.

I looked through Cyberpunk 2018 but couldn't find it, did someone post an imgur link to a, like, basically early-CG artbook from somewhere in 1993-1998 about virtual reality and CD-ROM futurism and whatnot? I read this book back in the day but can't for the life of me remember what it was called. I thought I saw it posted here somewhere.

Goddamn, I remember a directory full of various .TXT and .DOC files coming with shareware/freeware back in the day. Also, zmodem! drat. I remember spending an entire night waiting for a single WAV file (of the first half of the Alfred Hitchcock show theme) to download.
