In lieu of lunch, I offered to work straight through the day and go home early and eat a late lunch/early dinner. Dunch, if you will. Probably an Italian BMT from subway.

numberoneposter got me onto the BMT. I used to get either a spicy italian or a chicken breast sub. But the BMT is like a spicy italian but with ham. Although he gets the BMT with also the cold cuts combo on top. That's a lot of meat.

For dinner I made Japanese curry with tofu, taters, carrots, onions, etc. Golden curry roux blocks thrown in there at the end. Served over some of that expensive Japanese rice I got at that little cluster of Asian markets a district or two over. I was going to make some chicken katsu to go with it but then I did not.

My kids were home for lunch so I boiled up some frozen dumplings from ASIA-1 GROCERY, made some dipping sauce, and made a big pile of yau choy with oyster sauce. I should have made another dish without soy-based sauce as a dominant flavor too as it was a good lunch but monotonous.

Hometown Slime Queen posted:don't do it, bbc well it turns out I didn't even though I wanted to  I had to make a run to a gas station and it has a burger king attached to it so I got something called an 'egg-normous burrito' and asked them to add tomato to it which seemed to annoy the staff greatly and also I can tell you that it was not very good and that 'tater tots' should not be considered an appropriate burrito topping, even for a morning burrito. However, the orange juice I got with it was ok because it's pretty hard to gently caress up actual orange juice that isn't like, Sunny-D style "orange drink" poo poo. Yesterday I was on per diem so I had some kind of toasted chicken and artichoke baquette at an upscale airport restaurant. It was passable but ultimately boring. Today will probably consist of a diner brunch of the bacon eggs and rye toast variety and buckets of hot coffee.

Idk what im going to so for lunch today. Going to neighborhood bar to watch the GOTTDANG LOS ANGELES RAMS run train on the pussy rear end saints but not a lot of good food around the bar anymore, there was an insanely good pizza place but they got cocky and opened like 3 branches at the same time and then went out if business hella fast after and now closest food is like a lovely mexican chain and a dominos
