Dude's wrong on how 4chan works. You can see the number of unique people that post in a thread, so you can't really start a fake conversation with yourself without looking like a major idiot to everyone.
That's really only true if you're trying to actually start a fake argument with yourself from zero or you're trying to make a thread with 3-4 participants look like 20. No one's going to audit a thread with 30 participants just to suss out that there's actually only 29 active IPs.

Plus you can easily fuzz it anyway just by antagonizing yourself from your phone.

You dont really need to audit a thread since the built in board functionality tracks IP's, which is how it calculates the number of people posting on a certain thread. See:

You could fudge it through using your phone I guess. But unless you've got a lot of phones, its still going to look kinda silly.

4chan and the alt right, both very well-known for avoiding any risk of looking silly. That is why this thread is just wind and tumbleweeds.

"Risembool Ranger", god that's a term I haven't heard in a long time. I used to be involved in an anime con and only the massive distance between us and Vic spared us from his creepy rear end. Didn't stop the local branch of this fan club from trying however.

If there's 15 or 50 individual IPs already logged in a thread, how are you gonna suss out that it's one guy talking to himself as opposed to two or five or ten people? It's not like no new IPs posting matters when the thread has an established base of IPs already engaging in the 'discussion'. Especially if they have even a modicum of smarts/effort and vary their posting style (capitalization, grammar, line-breaks/paragraphs etc in addition to actual stances on whatever's being discussed.

True, at the point where a thread is thriving enough to attract a bunch of people to talk, it gets harder if not impossible to know (if) there is sameposting going on. But you could also make the argument that the more people engage with a thread, the chance of 1 guy arguing with himself starts to shrink because other people can also engage with the person and the conversation opens up.

I'm gonna stop now since this isn't the "talk about 4chan" thread. So here's some content: I Hate Everything looks at 2018 movies

It's certainly possible what I've seen speculated elsewhere that his teenage girl fan group (which thanks to FMA hitting when it did is huge) have conflated him with Ed and he's never been in any hurry to disabuse them of that notion.

Kingdom Hearts shoulda stayed as a simple "Hey its DIsney AND Final Fantasy!" instead of flinging off into its own thing that happens to have cameos by FF and Disney characters.

Also Jim picked the wrong song

E: Also Kingdom Hearts shoulda had more adventures of Sora's day job, being a bouncer.

Kingdom Hearts decided, of its own volition, to have two characters named "Ansem", three games about being stuck in memories/dreams/a simulation, and two games called "Birth by Sleep".

It's not complicated, it's willfully obtuse.

Kingdom Hearts is actually not at all hard to follow if you just play the games and take things in as they happen.
It’s just difficult to summarize or describe succinctly because of how densely packed the lore has become.
Ultimately you don’t need to memorize the finer details of every single afternoon that Roxas spent eating ice cream in order to understand the broad strokes of what’s happening.

It’s not really that much different from any other serialized fiction, except that the chosen medium has made it easier for people to miss a few episodes since not everybody owns every console and handheld.
Does crazy and silly stuff still happen in the games themselves? Yes. Yes it does. KH2 tried to do a death fake-out with Goofy

The real problem with the understanding of the story is that they released games on completely different consoles and there was no way to play them all on one console until recently.
