James Remar Raiden would be a great gear option though. Just hatless Raiden in cargo shorts and a dumb vest with a crewcut. I still don't know how the gently caress they justified that.

I'm kinda surprised since Johnny Cage was in that WWE mobile game that some wrestler or another didn't show up in MK, even if it was as some kind of thinly-fictionalized version thereof.

I mean... Undertaker. Midway did that arcade WWF game back in the day with special moves and fatalities and digitized graphics. A lot of Jason's playstyle could be repurposed to be Taker. He's had plenty of costumes over the years to customize his equipment and poo poo with. I want this now.

Reading this thread has made me realize that for all the time I’ve put into MK9 & MKX, I haven’t actually seen many of the arcade ladder endings! Def gonna try to fix that during the buildup to 11. Anyway for a super-non-canon timeline, there’s Cyber Reptile from the MK9 tower challenges!

I wish there was a variation that turned the sound effects over to be the original MK1 effects for when punches and kicks landed. Those arcade cabinet shaking smacking noises have never been topped.
