No bodies, just heads. And I'm pretty far inland in Korea. Juggling 2 dogs while one is going for a head, clear her throat then he's got a drat chicken bone, clear his mouth and now she has some la galbi rib peices chomping away. Like, I get it that we're in the boonies but the people in my little small town have no class, just throwing poo poo everywhere and letting their animals poo poo everywhere without bagging anything. Kinda weird how third world Korea can be sometimes even though they've advanced so relatively quickly after the war.

I’ve been able to keep Lando from swallowing them so far, but I can’t guarantee that I won’t go completely unhinged if I see someone littering them in public.

A reminder that possums are the one area where the Australian version is not a horrid mass of poison and death. Their possums are adorable and, I believe, roughly analogous to squirrels in the US.

Today is a long day in the car, 1045-930+. Dunno when Kedah will be able to get her real dinner so she got a 5 guys pattie in a lettuce bun. She smiffed and licked at it until i revealed the burger then the whole thing was gone in 1 bite. Then she started munching the lettuce. Then right as she was drinking some fat loving kid decided he was gonna ask to pet her from 6 feet away after she had started barking and lunging at him because tubby snuck up on her. His dad was like 10 feet away not even paying attention to his crotchspawn. Kid was like 8 and probably weighed close to what i do. One of these dumb fucks that walks up on her without doing the normal hi dog i dont know things is gonna get bit i swear. If that happend im shooting whoever got bit because im sure they would put her down...

Lando doesn’t like kids either and I’ve had similar things happen. Nothing like a group of eight or so year old girls running up to your barking dog while yelling DOGGY! DOGGY! as their smiling parents somehow don’t get that barking and cowering away means “leave me alone.” Being a good dog owner means protecting your dog from themselves as much as it does protecting them from other things. That means trying to keep them away from situations/things where they could get into trouble, and being prepared to act quickly when something unexpected happens. Not to sound like Tactical Timmy the K9 Kommando here, but you do have to be situationally aware or at least walking without your nose in your goddamn phone to make sure you can head off trouble before it’s on top of you- I once had an incident where an off-leash dog aggressively charged at Lando while the owner was engrossed in her phone and didn’t realize what was happening until I was yelling to put a leash on her dog as he snarled at Lando as he was barking up a storm. Also, I wear a small treat pouch packed with goodies that I’ll use to distract Lando when dogs or kids are approaching, and also to reward effusively when he handles a situation well. I’m also taking him to a behaviorist early in March to see if we can countercondition his fear of kids.

Yeah i have lots of treats for her but kids will make her ignore them. I need to get her to someone to help. Its bad with dogs too. I saw her straining to charge another dog so i started leading her away and the guy walking his ratdog just kept watching as he walked right bye us even as she started going nuts. Didnt even bother crossing the street or walking faster. Had treats inhand too and she started ignoring them when the ratdog got within 50 feet

Can’t really speak to dealing with the kid thing as I’m dealing with it myself, but here’s a good article about leash reactivity- https://www.animalhumanesociety.org/behavior/managing-leash-reactive-dog I assume that you’re going to take Kedah to a family dog manners class but also consider doing a reactive dog class as well. My trainers gave my fiancée and I all kinds of great tips to help Lando with his reactivity, and we went from him going nuts around 70% of the time that he saw another dog to less than 20%. Still a ways to go but everything helps.

Can you give Lando a cuddle from me next time you see him. Poor boy. In Max news, my mother's partner took him for a walk last night, and some rear end in a top hat's dog that was roaming free went for him. Sharon got between them and took a chomp on the arm, fortunately not piercing the skin, but for gently caress's sake, seriously. Dogs need attention and love, and you can't just leave them alone all the time. Max is fine and so is Sharon. Thank gently caress.

I am so happy my old girl loves children. It’s just other dogs she doesn’t always like. Had an off leash 15lb dog charge her and as I struggled to get the little dog away without punting it, my dog grabbed it and threw it a few feet away. The area was a really well marked LEASH ON area. They knocked on my door later and apologized profusely because they were doing a photo shoot and looked away for a moment to change lenses. They wanted to make sure my dog was ok and pay for any vet bills if we took her there. Thankfully their dog was relatively ok and they didn’t make a fuss.

Jesus all of the cute. Edit: Kedah sniffed 5-6 peoples hands in a gtoup with no aggressive moves then a different person came through the door and she barked a couple times then settled down. During our walk we were waiting for a lady to pass through the doors at petsmart and she was looking at the small dog from 10 feet away with interest but no aggressive moves. Then the stupid bitch said to her fluff ball "she could eat you" AND KICKED THEN SIGN FOR THEIR VETS SERVICES TO STARTLE KEDAH! Barking and jumping ensued congrats lady you managed to gently caress up todays dog progress. She had caught sight of a half dozen dogs inside with no charging barking or straining. There was this kid in my complex, around age 7 I’d guess, who was running down a hallway and ran up on Timothy, who stood his ground and barked at the kid. “Why is your dog so mean?” Kid, you just ran up to his face! “My dog’s better” he said as he ran away. I look. Old golden retriever. Very good dog I am sure. But don’t think for a minute that Old Goldie wouldn’t tear out my throat if I ran up to his face like he did Tim. Yo guys, Tim’s not mean ever. He just doesn’t like getting freaked out. If you just wait, he’ll come to you and sniff for himself! gently caress “other white people’s kids”. Here’s that boy: And the best little Zipper
