The X-blade is the counterpart to Kingdom Hearts and the only thing that can open it, and presumably also the only thing that can close it which is probably what Sora used it for. Without the presence of Kingdom Hearts it probably just straight up disappears yes

I'm actually not even sure it makes a good weapon independent of its ability to access Kingdom Hearts. It didn't seem to grant MX any abilities he didn't already have aside from maybe forcing you into anti-form and as a thing to hit people with seems to be inferior to No Name or Ultima

The thing about that is that the only reason he gave No Name to Luxu was so that he could see the future and write the book of prophecies, which he had already written when he sent Luxu out so he already knew he would be successful but needed to send him anyway in order to avoid a paradox. But apparently the book of prophecy that he had already written ended when Sora and co got owned and the darkness prevailed which ultimately ended up not happening yet the book of prophecy didnt end up reflecting that, so Sora's Final World Adventure and anything past it presumably would not be part of MoM's plan But we know that No Name was still around post-Final World and we know that Luxu as Xigbar retrieved it, so the eye saw these events and so MoM should have known about them but didn't write it down

Maybe because the X blade was formed and Kingdom Hearts actually ended up being summoned its reality warping powers ended up changing fate and so the eye of prophecy couldn't see beyond the moment Kingdom Hearts appears

Hey here's a question Do any of the other games ever reference that Sora has a mom. Because the first game absolutely has a scene where his mom calls him down to dinner or something off screen and then there's never a mention of it again. She must be worried sick!

Didn't No Name turn into the X-blade when it and the 12 other copied combined? Then No Name ended up returning to Xigbar at the end so either he has the X-blade now or at least one part of it.

My second favorite part of DDD is when Joshua inexplicably sprouts angel wings and flies away because it makes zero sense if you haven’t played TWEWY and that’s typical Nomura right there. Obv the best scene is Leonard Nimoy’s ten minute soliloquy that explains the entire plot of the series.

How many characteres are the same/share the same body? because in my mind i always conflate between Sora and Roxas, but also Ventus is Roxas, and Also Xion is Sora and Roxas, but she also looks like Kairi, and Namine is Kairi's nobody. what i'm saying is Xion is Namine is Kairi, and Ventus is Roxas is Sora. So they could've cut that weird beach episode of an ending down like 30% or so
