So this year we’re getting albums from: Ariana Katy Perry Marina Lana Del Rey Sky Ferreira Gaga Our Lord and savior Carly Rae probably Rihanna Solange Grimes Mark Ronson The 1975 Avril Lavigne The Weeknd Plus a bunch of great newer/less famous people like Sigrid, Sir Babydoll, DAWN, Khalid, Maren Morris, Hannah Diamond... This reminds me of 2013 where we had a bunch of people on every level of pop putting something interesting and good out there.

Without Googling I can also recall the Marvin Gaye one and the 'Dear Future Husband' one. But na I don't think she has much star or staying power Wouldn't be surprised if that press release was intentionally cringy just to get people talking about her/jog memories

She had a minor hit last year or the year before with "Me Too" which I actually thought was pretty good. EDIT: No, "Me Too" was terrible.
