Doesn't Reid getting a contract a year later prove that his blackballing wasn't for "football reasons"

Not if there was evidence that two or more teams agreed not to sign him

The NFL had to at least be covering up actual collusion, or at best email chains where owners say the n word a lot

A city that was to live by night after the wilderness had passed. A city that was to forge out of steel and blood-red neon its own peculiar wilderness.
Yeah they had to have found something during discovery thay they didn't want out.

It also explains why there was news about the owners looking for a new commissioner recently.

Is this Heaven?
NFL has way more money than those two, the only way they agree to a settlement (much less one for the amount that's being floated out there) rather than just letting the case drag on is if there's something really bad that may come up in discovery that they want buried and/or if they know that Kaep and Reid have them dead to rights on the collusion

He got caught on tape making this story up at least, and I honestly don't know which would be a worse look.

Isn't the saddest punt ever that one in the downpour that went splat and didn't bounce or roll? That Steelers Dolphins game that ended 3-0

That... is flukey as poo poo :stare:

That's also entirely why Bois had the "yeah, no, this punt doesn't count for the sadness index because of outside influences, like a bad snap."

A punt bouncing that far back is entirely a fluke, and I wouldn't count it :v:

Also, I feel like Bois does a pretty decent job of really distinguishing a sad punt from a bad punt.

Whiffing a punt is a bad punt. A perfect coffin corner from the 40 yard line when you're down by 2 with 1 minute left is a sad punt.

In an ecosystem where the marketing of shoes and the marketing of basketball have such a strong symbiotic relationship, a defective shoe injuring one of the most famous players in the country on the court in the biggest game of the year is actually a pretty huge story.

Fine but this is only getting brought up because the Rockets/their fans think Foster is out to get them. The leap of logic from "bad ref, possibly corrupt" to "FIXING GAMES EXCLUSIVELY AGAINST MY TEAM" is the dumb part
