Do they have vents in the lenses? I wouldn’t think they’d be THAT bad but not ideal.

Ok so I looked around a bit at the differences between MTB and snow goggles and the main difference it seems is that MTB goggles have a single layer lens whereas snow goggles have a double layer lens, which stops the lens fogging in cold snowy climates. Not a big fan of foggy lenses so I'll definitely have a look for some snow specific ones.

That sounds good but I'm in the UK so probably cheaper shipping wise to get some from over here. My MTB goggles are Melon Parker ones which come in both MTB and snow varieties, the only difference with them being the lens itself so I'll probably pick up a snow lens for them. They're really well vented goggles so it shouldn't be a problem.

Slipped on the ice last night and got some sort of whiplash, and apparently missed an amazing day of storm skiing. Spent the day with a heat pack and muscle relaxers. But it’s still snowing and tomorrow should be bluebird

Very sorry to hear that I did a dumb and got bucked on a flat at speed for my first run yesterday knocking the wind out of me and bruising the heck out of my right knee. Still did 11 runs and 10ish today. Was weirdly good for me though because ot forced me to ride a completely different style. Hope you're back up soon HookShot.

My daughter is on the cusp of qualifying for northeast regionals (Gunstock) to represent the state in skiing but she has a sleepover at her best friends place before the last qualifying race of the season. If she misses the race, she will miss out on the points and won't qualify. I really want her to do the race, but I don't want to be an rear end in a top hat sports dad and I want her to have a normal social life so against my own instincts I'm letting her skip the last ski race of the year to spend time with friends. (The last race is a slalom race, her best event, too.)

If it makes you feel any better their results at that age literally do not matter at all. I know one girl who has now quit ski racing and goes to university who used to say that one of the highlights of her life is being able to say that she used to beat a current member of Canada's national team back when they were both in U14. I also know another one who is on track to at least do NCAA if not make the national team who came in dead last in her very first race, back in U14. She's now Canada's U19 GS champion.
