Having done this exact thing back when winter was regularly cold enough for Lake Champlain to freeze over in totality, I can tell you that the bays of Champlain all have a little granite seamounts scattered about that, under a few inches of snow, will absolutely rip out a small car's suspension.

to the surprise of no one, tesla has problems in europe, too. https://twitter.com/Tesla_Bear/status/1100520637540564994 some highlights: tesla requires full payment before even giving a delivery date. delivery dates get postponed multiple times, german customers have to self-register their cars, but are not given appropriate documents before delivery, so have to postpone delivery themselves, delivered cars don't charge at a useful rate, expected quality issues, cars rebooting while driving, reservation fees mean nothing
